'2218', or, The Alano Society of Minneapolis
is a non profit organization whose purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve complete and lasting sobriety by education and use of the Alcoholics Anonymous program and philosophy. By practicing the program and sharing it with others, we assist members and prospective members to secure spiritual recovery, practices, guidance, education, and fellowship, in order to promote their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional welfare.
The Alano Society has a rich history as a meeting place for Alcoholics Anonymous, and has spun off countless meetings in all corners of Minnesota and the upper Midwest and into the provinces of Canada. '2218' is providing a place for A.A. meetings to continually serve those in need of spiritual recovery from addiction. '2218', our home, is an asset to the community, and with your help we can make it a home for A.A. groups for generations to come.
Free parking and cafe services throughout the day.
